Class Policies at Sewn

Please read the following information before attending your Sewn sewing lesson.


Class Attendance

Please be on time for your sewing class and call us to let us know if you are going to be late. Unfortunately we cannot allow time to be made up should you be late.


Refunds & Cancellations

On some classes we request a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the remainder of your fee due 10 days before the start of the class. Should the class receive low registration numbers we reserve the right to cancel the class. All students registered for a cancelled class will be notified at least 48 hours before and given a full refund. We appreciate your understanding in the event of a cancellation.



Before the start of the sewing class, your teacher will run through basic safety to consider during your class as well as to make you aware of fire exits in the venue.


Risk of Injury

Sewn is not responsible for any injuries or damages incurred during your sewing lesson. As sewing involves the use of a sewing machine, scissors and other sharp objects such as pins and needles, each student is responsible for his/her own risk of injury or damages. Each student will be asked to sign a waiver at the start of each lesson accepting the risk of injury during any class at Sewn.


Lost Property

Please keep your personal belongings near you during your lesson and during any intervals or lunch breaks. Sewn is not responsible for lost or damaged property.
